HOUSE

J is composed of rooms tied in a row. All openings are in square forms, each room scattered with the square of different size and combination. The openings frame the scenery beyond; cherry tree in the garden, sky over the neighboring house or the scenery of the next room.
Our intention is to equalize the scenery in and outside the house. If we succeed, we will be able to create an inner world in a room, as an island floating on the ocean surrounded by the outside world.
Each room is like a cell, although the room itself has no particular individuality. The characteristic of the cell can be seen, for all the openings are limited to a squared shape, framing the scenery beyond it.
