is a competition proposal in collaboration with Paolo Pomodoro and Tim Power. Taking in consideration to secure the scenery towards Citta Alta, the height is kept lower than the memorable medieval tower. Even with the building’s maximum height reaching 88m, this big volume opens the sight towards the landscape by dividing it into two blocks. The redevelopment area being in connection with the rural landscape which developed in the outskirts of Citta Bassa in the 19th century, we handed over the ground level to the landscape and formed a floating main lobby above, in order to retain the atmosphere of the rustic landscape. The main lobby is a porous space, considering the light towards the ground and allowing this redevelopment area to have the characteristic of broadening　into a public space for pedestrians in the future.
